In tragic news everyones famous Disney girl , Demi Lovato has checked herself into a treatment center for "personal issues" .
The Disney star's rep has confirmed with a statement saying that " Demi has decided to accept personal responsibility for her actions and seek help . Demi and her family ask that media please respect their privacy during this difficult time . She regrets not being able to finish the tour , but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future . "
A source also told E! news that the actress/singer has struggled with bulimia and it is among her emotional and physical issues . Two years ago photos surfaced of suspicious marks on her wrist and her rep quickly shot the rumors down that she was cutting herself .
But family sources have allegedly said that she has indeed cut herself in the past .
"After her breakup with Jonas Brother Joe it was a hold lot of drama very awkward . Everyone tried to keep it professional but you could tell it took a told on Demi . It was taboo to bring up but she just was not over Joe ."
Another source says that there was more to her weekend meltdown that cost her to shut down her twitter account and leave the Jonas Brothers. tour during the second leg in South America .
Also I was told that at the airport in Peru , on Saturday Demi got into a fight with a backup dancer . Just losing it in front of everyone causing the Jonas Brothers manage/dad to send her packing . Demi also allegedly made verbal threats to Joe Jonas's new girlfriend Twilight actress Ashley Greene who was also at the airport in Peru .
