I'm sure you have heard of the saying all good things must come to an end . Well in this case all bad things must come to an end and in all honesty , I'm hoping that it's true . Because this past year really sucked , not to say that it didn't have any ups but they were few and rare . This past year has been like a roller coaster ride , since the beginning and well I want to get off and this time for good . I'm ready for solid ground , for things to make sense and for my dreams to become a reality .
I remember at the beginning of 2010 I was filled with glee of what was to come . I thought I would grow emotionally get one step closer to finding myself but I was only led one step back . I was ready for changes and meeting new interesting people , but I was only left with the same old idiotic people who have no dreams or a sense of what was most important in life . Oh and those changes I'm still waiting .
During this year I messed up allot . Made decisions I am not proud of . But if I was given a second chance I would probably make the same decisions had I not learnt the many lessons you have tried to teach me , 2010 . In 2010 I faced the reality that I truly don't know who I am but with steady progress I hope will .
Over the past 12 months I have seen the dark side of many people that I doubt I will ever forget . But those same experiences have taught me that I need to detox my life . Which I will do , that is a promise , I will put that on everything ! I have come to a realization that I can't keep living the way I have been . I will face my demons , stand my ground and triumph over them all . I am going to put my life together the way I want it . From now on no more drama I am going to focus on my responsibilities and work towards what I truly want in life . I'm not afraid any more !
So 2010 you were rough and made me learn lessons in a very unconventional way . But without you I would not look back at the past year giving myself a well needed pep-talk .That I WILL DO BETTER in 2011. I will make 2011 a happier year filled with accomplishment , pride and self- fulfilment . I want to be able to stand here 365 days from now and be completely proud of myself . That's what you've taught me 2010, that it does not matter what you have done in the past , the best thing you can do for your self is learn from your mistakes and make your future better . Because the grass is greener on the other side in this case . Thank you for the MANY lessons that I truly have learnt from . Now with the utmost respect good riddance and may you take your times of pain and sorrow with you !
